COVID-19 Announcement

March 20, 2020

UPDATED 5/10/20 –

We are now reopening our office and scheduling patients for cleanings and elective procedures. The healthy and safety of our employees and customers continues to be our primary priority. In order to do everything we can to keep our people safe, we’ve added the following procedures to insure a COVID-free environment. Here’s what you can expect during all appointments in the next few months:

  • Team members and patient temperatures are taken along with prescreening questions.

  • The lobby is completely sanitized and wiped down in accordance with the CDC guidelines.

  • To minimize the number of contacts with other patients, we request those accompanying patients remain in their car.

  • We also are providing instant checkout for many procedures to minimize contacts.

We are excited to reopen and sincerely appreciate your support and understanding as we implement the new guidelines for everyone’s safety!

ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

As the COVID-19 virus continues to impact the lives of so many people across the nation, the American Dental Association has made recommendations for all dentists and specialists to restrict their practices temporarily.  In response to the ADA’s recommendation, we have decided to temporarily slow down the flow of office visits and appointments in our practice.  In addition, we will be implementing additional protocols to ensure the safety of all our patients and team members.

We will be reaching out to our patients currently scheduled to make adjustments in appointments as needed.  We understand and are aware that changes can and will be inconvenient with patients, especially those with very busy schedules.  We ask your patience with our team as we make the necessary adjustments.  Due to the rapid changing nature of this virus, we have no definite time frame as to how long these changes will be in effect.

I have had the pleasure of serving this community for twenty years and truly feel fortunate and blessed to have so many great loyal patients and team members.  Y’all are like family to me.  The health of our patients, team members, and our community is very important to Advanced Smiles and we will make decisions based on your health as our top priority.  Once again this is a temporary change.

Together, we will get past these challenging times.  My team and I look forward in continuing to provide great five star dental care to all our patients!
